Agency Employment Opportunities

The Area Agency on Aging Region 9, Inc. (AAA9) located in Cambridge, Ohio,
is currently interviewing for the following positions:

 

RN/LSW Case Managers

Applicants must be either a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Registered Nurse (RN) with one year of experience working with individuals with physical or behavioral disabilities; in home health care, medical social work; or behavioral health required.

SRS Recovery Case Manager

Recovery Manager of consumers in the Specialized Recovery Services program. Outreach and Assistance to individuals to ensure follow-up with behavioral health providers or their specialty physicians. Coordination of ongoing care. Linkage and referrals. Assistance with managing ongoing Medicaid. Required contacts, visits and eligibility determinations. On-call participation required. Caseload in the 14 county area served by this program. 

Bachelor's Degree and experience in a related field, degree in related field such as psychology, social work, counseling, psychology, gerontology, sociology, criminal justice.

Minimum of three years post degree mental health experience working with individuals with severe persistent mental illness or one year experience with individuals with diagnosed chronic conditions

Must have a reliable car or means of transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance

Must have high speed internet at residence and cell phone coverage

Housing Assistance Coordinator

Promote, coordinate, implement and/or monitor all housing and ramp related programs for Area Agency on Aging Region 9. Assess housing and possible vehicle needs of older adults and disabled individuals in the extended service area of Area Agency on Aging Region 9. Participate in regional/local housing coalitions, compile and maintain all required reports. Travel independently within the service area. Administer housing program for all agency programs.

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field preferred. Seven years of experience in home/vehicle modifications or in a construction related field. Excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to accurately document facts. Excellent computer and internet skills needed including the ability to use computer spreadsheets and word processing software.
