The Area Agency on Aging, Region 9, is interviewing for the following positions:

Full Time Positions: 

RN or LSW  Case Managers

The Area Agency on Aging Region 9, Inc.
(AAA9), located in Cambridge OH, is interviewing for Case Managers. Applicants
must be either a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or a Registered Nurse
 with one year of experience working with individuals with
physical or behavioral disabilities; in home health care, medical social work;
or behavioral health required. AAA9 provides an excellent benefits package

Caregiver Education Coordinator    

General Duties:

Caregiver Education Coordinator will have a priority focus on Caregiver education and support. Will be responsible for organizing and coordinating education opportunities for AAA9 ensuring a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

Develop, coordinate, and implement CG and community education and outreach activities designed to increase aid and bring awareness to CG issues. Will do speaking events related to Caregiver education and be a part of initiatives related to specific targeted CG populations. Will work with community partners to best serve identified CG’s.

Primary duties are: one on one support, referral, and education; education classes; community outreach

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Director(s). This is not a full list of job duties and duties are subject to change.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  1. RN or LSW Bachelor’s degree in related field (Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology, etc. will be considered).
  2. Experience in public speaking and strong interpersonal communication skills
  3. Computer skills including word-processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheet and PowerPoint is
  4. The ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends may be required.


SRS Recovery Manager    (Licensed or Non-Licensed Professional)

General Duties:

Outreach and Assistance to individuals to ensure follow-up with behavioral health providers or their specialty physicians. Coordination of ongoing care. Linkage and referrals. Assistance with managing ongoing Medicaid.  Required contacts, visits, and eligibility determinations.

On-call participation required.

Caseload in the 14-county area that is served by this program.

Required Experience/Skills:
   1. Bachelor’s Degree and experience in a related field
   2. Minimum of three years post degree mental health experience or one year experience with individuals with diagnosed chronic conditions.
   3. Must have a reliable car or means of transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance.
   4. Must have high speed internet at residence and cell phone coverage.
