Community Needs Assessment and Public Hearing Notice

The Community Needs Assessment serves as the foundation for the Area Agency on Aging, Region 9 (AAA9) 2027–2030 Strategic Area Plan (SAP). This assessment evaluates the needs and priorities of older adults across the nine-county service area—Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, and Tuscarawas—and informs the development of goals, strategies, and services outlined in the SAP.

AAA9 invites stakeholders and members of the public to review the findings of the Community Needs Assessment and provide input on the proposed Strategic Area Plan. Public feedback is a critical component of the planning process and will be considered prior to finalizing the plan.

A public hearing will be held to offer an opportunity for formal comment and discussion regarding the 2027–2030 Strategic Area Plan. Details for participation are provided below.

Location: Area Agency on Aging, Region 9 First Floor Events and Conference Room, 710 Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio.
