General duties: 

  • Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with accounting standards

  • Complete required external grant reporting and submit requests for funds

  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor communication

  • Process provider payments accurately and on schedule

  • Record and reconcile daily/weekly deposits

  • Assist with program financial monitoring and reporting

  • Support the development and tracking of budgets

  • Participate in the monthly close process, including reconciliations and reporting

  • Assist with year-end closing activities and audit preparation

  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the CFOO and Director of Finance

 

Required Experience / skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting – preferred

Minimum 1-3 years' experience in accounting – preferred

Experience in non-profit and government funding – preferred

Excellent computer skills including spreadsheet experience – required

Salary is $52,428 with salary increases every year for the first 4 years.
