• Do you need help with Prescription Drug Costs?

• Many Seniors Struggle to pay their Medicare premiums, copayments and prescription drug costs. Still, many seniors aren’t aware that they may qualify for help in covering those expenses. The Area Agency on Aging Region 9 (AAA9) was recently a $38,500 grant from the Ohio Department of Aging to help identify older adults who are eligible, but not yet applied for the benefit. We may be able to help! Do you have Medicare Part D? If yes, you may be able to get help with your Part D premium, deductibles, co-pays and even the doughnut hole. • MIPPA Grant

• The Social Security Administration estimates indicate that many older adults who are eligible for the program have not applied yet.  The grant is part of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA).  Couples and individuals can have a significant income and assets and still be eligible.
